2015 NFL Predictions: Week 15

I didn’t think my picks could get any worse but hopefully this past week represented rock bottom and I begin a rebound this week. How bad was I last week?  6-10 ATS and 9-7 SU.  The yearly record now stands at 130-78 and 98-105-5.  It might be tough to reach 0.500 at this point. All the games are now online. Enjoy TFA if you are going this week!

Buccaneers (-1) over RAMS– The Rams certainly played better last week while the Bucs struggled with expectations, but I still see the Bucs as the higher upside team at this point. Maybe thats blind faith in the QB in Tampa who I think can be really good and if he plays well that opens up the run game where they have explosive talent and disregarding too much the strength of the Rams defense, but thats my gut feeling on the game. St. Louis doesnt come across like a team that can keep things going smoothly week to week and I could see their offense having a difficult time keeping possession of the football. Buccaneers 20 Rams 16 Continue reading 2015 NFL Predictions: Week 15 »

2015 NFL Predictions: Week 14

My hopes of finishing strong seem to be losing steam was a 10-6 week and just 7-9 picking with the points. The yearly record now stands at 121-71 and 92-95-5.  All the games are now online…

CARDINALS (-10) over Vikings– Even if the Vikings were not banged up I think I would have leaned towards the Cardinals with what Id imagine would have been a 6 or 6.5 point spread.  Arizona at home has generally been unstoppable on offense and I cant picture the Vikings doing well in a shootout. They will try to control the gme with Adrian Peterson but if he cant get going early the game is as good as over. Cardinals 30 Vikings 13 Continue reading 2015 NFL Predictions: Week 14 »

2015 NFL Predictions: Week 13

Last week I finished 9-7 SU and 7-9 ATS to bring the yearly record to 111-65 and 85-86-5 respectively. All of the games for the week are now online.

Packers (-2.5) over LIONS– I havent had much luck picking the Packers as they are in a funk I am having a hard time explaining. Detroit has certainly played better over the last few weeks and just destroyed the Eagles. With both teams having a full week off, hopefully this will be the best Thursday game in some time. The streaks for both teams really began when they played each other a few weeks back and the Lions upset the Packers in Green Bay so I think the Packers can look at this as the place where they get the season back on track. If Green Bay struggles here I think it might be time to worry about if they can fire for the playoffs. Packers 26 Lions 19 Continue reading 2015 NFL Predictions: Week 13 »

2015 NFL Predictions: Week 12

Thanksgiving was not kind  to me as I went just 1-2 on those games. Lets see if I can pick up the slack on Sunday…

Raiders (-1) over TITANS– I could go back and forth on this one all day but I just think the Raiders will find a way to get back to playing well and into the back end of the playoff chase. Titans are so up and down that if you get their A game they will win this one by 5 or 6 points but their B game is a loss by at least that much. Raiders 23 Titans 17 Continue reading 2015 NFL Predictions: Week 12 »

2015 NFL Predictions: Turkey Edition

Happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully everyone is enjoying a fun day with your families and getting ready to watch some football. My midseason funk continues picking games with a 7-7 record last weekend and a 6-8 record against the spread. My yearly record is now 102-58 and 78-77-5. I’ll do a separate post for the other games later this week. Continue reading 2015 NFL Predictions: Turkey Edition »

2015 NFL Predictions: Week 10

Last week is in the books and I went 9-4 both with and without the points. By far the game I was most off on was the Falcons who I thought would beat up San Francisco but struggled again and lost again to a bad team. My best pick was probably the Panthers beating the Packers though I thought it would be closer than it was. The yearly record is now at 90-42 SU and 67-60-5 ATS. All the games are up for the week now, Continue reading 2015 NFL Predictions: Week 10 »
