Contract Notes
Eric Fisher signed a four year, $48 million contract extension with the Chiefs on August 1, 2016. Fisher received $40 million in guarantees, $22 million of which was guaranteed upon signing. Fisher has various trigger dates in his contract that will fully guarantee his 2018 and majority of his 2019 salary. In the final three years of the contract he has $500,000 per game roster bonuses. There is also up to $2.5 million in additional incentives for honors.Prior to the start of the 2019 regular season Fisher converted $9.54 million of his salary to a bonus to create $6.36 million in 2019 cap space for the Chiefs.
