Contract Notes
Cory Littleton signed a three year, $35.25 million contract with the Raiders. Littleton received $22 million guaranteed at signing. In each year of the contract there are $500,000 in per game bonuses. The contract can max out at $36 million based on honors selections.
The Raiders restructured Littleton's contract for salary cap relief on September 6, 2020. We are estimating that the Raiders converted $10.09 million of his 2020 salary into a signing bonus and added two void years to lower his cap number by $8.072 million. The move will increase his cap figures by $2.018 million in each remaining season of the contract and leave the team with a potential $4 million dead money charge if the contract voids.
The Raiders converted $5.5 million to a signing bonus and added an additional void year to the contract for salary cap purposes. The move lowers Littleon's cap charge in 2021 by $4.4 million and increases his 2022 cap charge by $1.1 million and his potential 2023 dead money by $3.3 million.
The Raiders converted $4.25 million of Littleton's salary to a bonus to gain $3.4 million in cap space in 2021.
