NFL Predictions 2014: Week 10

[adsenseyu1]

I think I had my worst week of the season in week 9 going 8-5 in picks and 4-7-1 in picks against the spread. I split on Thursday leaving my yearly record at 88-46-1 SU and 76-55-4 ATS. Onto week 10….

Cowboys (-7) over JAGUARS– Another installment of London football this time with one of the most high profile teams in the NFL. That should be about the most interesting aspect of this game as the Jaguars are so bad its hard to see this being a game. Cowboys 29 Jaguars 14

Dolphins (+2.5) over LIONS– Should be a defensive struggle between these two teas. I prefer the Miami  pass rush in this one and think they rattle Stafford enough to get the outright win. Dolphins 17 Lions 14

Chiefs (-1) over BILLS– The battle of teams that recently beat up on the Jets will likely be a decently contested game, specifically on defense. Kansas City is the better overall team and should pull ahead late. Chiefs 23 Bills 17

49ers (+5.5) over SAINTS– The 49ers played poorly last week against the Rams and get a very difficult matchup this week in New Orleans, who is finding themselves again on offense. 49ers should be able to keep this within five, but the Saints should win the game. Saints 27 49ers 23

RAVENS (-10) over Titans– Don’t expect the Titans offense to appear too often on the Red Zone channel unless its them throwing an interception for a Ravens score. Ravens 30 Titans 10

Steelers (-3.5) over JETS– My heart is hoping for the Steelers to have their lay down game this week but my head tells me this will be another embarrassing loss for the Jets. Steelers 34 Jets 17

Falcons (-2.5) over BUCCANEERS– If Matt Ryan can’t put up 30 points on this defense he’s going to come under some pretty heavy scrutiny. Falcons 33 Buccaneers 20

Broncos (-11) over RAIDERS– Oakland’s been much more competitive of late, but after last weeks wipeout against the Patriots I would think they get the best of the Broncos which is not a good thing for Oakland. Broncos 34 Raiders 16

CARDINALS (-7.5) over Rams– I find it hard to believe that Arizona will have a letdown effort this week considering how successful the Rams have been in their division. Rams desperately need this one to stay alive, but Arizona is playing too well. Cardinals 27 Rams 14

Giants (+8.5) over SEAHAWKS– Tough game as the Giants look to be coming apart at the seams, but I think the warning lights are out there for Seattle as a big favorite. Giants will fight to cover but it would be surprising if they pulled out the win. Seahawks 31 Giants 24

PACKERS (-7) over Bears– Chicago is one of the worst teams that money can buy and it could make for a difficult rest of the season if they cant win this one. Bears offense has no upside against a high scoring offense so I cant see the upset. Packers 34 Bears 23

EAGLES (-7) over Panthers– All eyes will be on Mark Sanchez in this one as he either begins the journey towards reclaiming his career or brings the Eagles crashing down for the season. Perfect opponent and opportunity for him this week. Eagles 33 Panthers 17
