Will Anderson signed a three year, $150 million contract extension with the Texans on April 22, 2026 making him the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Anderson received $134.063 million in guarantees of which $100.063 million is fully guaranteed at signing. The new money guarantee on the contract is $107 million. Anderson received a $32 million signing bonus and his 2026 salary is fully guaranteed. Anderson's 2027 and 2028 salaries are fully guaranteed at signing as is $5.5 million of his 2029 salary.
