Contract Notes
David Bakhtiari signed a four year, $92 million contract extension with the Packers on November, 14, 2020. Bakhtiari received a $30 million signing bonus which is the guaranteed portion of the contract. Bakhtiari will earn roster bonuses on the third day of the league year in 2021, 2022, and 2023. There are annual per game roster bonuses of $600,000 and annual workout bonuses as part of the contract. Another $2 million in incentives are available which can increase the contract value to $94 million if earned.
The Packers converted Bakhtiari's 2021 roster bonus into a signing bonus to create $8.3 million in salary cap space. His salary cap number will increase by $2.768 million in each of the final three years of his contract.
