We’re back with another week of our power rankings. Again these ranks are not based on my own opinion but on a formula that determines how effective a team is at scoring and prevent scores against their specific schedule.
The Broncos maintain the top spot while the Colts leap by the Seahawks for second place. urrently the top 4 teams look to be head and shoulders above everyone else with the Chargers somewhat close behind. Of course many of these teams have only played 5 games so there is still a lot of football to be played and these ranks will certainly change over time.
The biggest positive mover of the week was the Eagles who climbed 7 spots to the number 10 position following their beatdown of the Giants. The Giants were the biggest loser of the week dropping 11 spots. The Falcons showing combined with the no-show versus Philadelphia really hurt New York this week as does Detroits inability to score against anyone else this season.
