NFL Predictions 2014: Week 15 Thursday Night Football

Last week’s record was 11-5 and 9-7. Not great by any means but an improvement over last week.  The record now stands at 138-69-1 and 115-89-4….

Cardinals (+6) over RAMS– Very interesting game and I’m not sure the last time a team with as good of a record as the Cardinals was this big of an underdog to a team with a losing record. The Rams are red hot though and their defense is playing better than anyone in the NFL.  My worry for the Cardinals is how they are going to move the ball against the Rams defense the way they are currently playing. They can be mistake prone at times and that will just be accentuated more so against the Rams. By the same token I don’t know how the Rams are going to play offensively. Despite the great run the QB play is still subpar and the Cardinals are likely to shut down any attempt at a run game by St. Louis. The Rams are capable of a big pass which could be enough to win, but I’ll go with the team that’s been better on the season. I don’t feel that confident in the Arizona pick but I feel much more confident that if they fail to win they should still be within 6. Cardinals 20 Rams 19
