Update: CB Brandon Browner Receives Payraise From Seahawks

[adsenseyu1]

I had incorrectly assumed based on the following that Brandon Browner had signed an extension with the Seahawks. According to Curtis Crabtree the Seahawks gave Browner a raise for the season and not an extension, which was my assumption.

Apologies for the mistake. Here is the original posting:
According to the NFL’s daily transaction logs CB Brandon Browner has renegotiated his contract with the Seahawks

Browner was in the final year of his contract and scheduled to earn the minimum salary, $555,000. With that in mind that should mean that the renegotiation is actually an extension onto his existing contract. Seattle had around $3.5 million in cap room to play with before the move. I’d imagine actual details of the contract will be made known tomorrow.
