Brandon Flowers Restructures Contract; Chiefs Now Cap Compliant

[adsenseyu1]

The Kansas City Chiefs have created $3 million in cap room by converting $4 million of CB Brandon Flowers Paragraph 5 salary into a signing bonus. The move should now put the Chiefs under the salary cap limit for the season, though they will likely need to do more to function during the year. The move pushes Flowers cap hits in 2014 and 2015 to $10.5 and $11.5 million respectively.
