2015 NFL Predictions: Turkey Edition

Happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully everyone is enjoying a fun day with your families and getting ready to watch some football. My midseason funk continues picking games with a 7-7 record last weekend and a 6-8 record against the spread. My yearly record is now 102-58 and 78-77-5. I’ll do a separate post for the other games later this week.

Eagles (+2.5) over LIONS– These are two teams moving in opposite directions. Philadelphia looks as if they quit on the year and the coach while the Lions have given a strong effort the last two weeks. Philadelphia hit rock bottom last weekend but Ill take my chances that they pull it together for the game this week. If Detroit plays very aggressive on offense they can take advantage of the Eagles secondary but I think they will approach it more conservatively which will cost them. Eagles 23 Lions 19

Panthers (+1) over COWBOYS– Interesting game. Does Tony Romo shake off more rust and make a huge difference?  How do the Panthers react to a short week and high expectations. Does Greg Hardy do anything against his former team?  Dallas season hangs in the balance of this game, but Carolina has played so well this year the only reason to really pick against them is because you feel they are due for a bad game. Even with Romo in the lineup I think the Panthers outclass the Cowboys. Panthers 27 Cowboys 20

PACKERS (-8.5) over Bears– The Packers found themselves last week when they beat up on the Vikings and that should continue this week. The Bears will give it a shot and Jay Cutler sometimes gets off to a fast start versus the Pack, but the Packers should pull away late to win the game. Packer 30 Bears 20
