Contract Notes

Jordan Mailata signed a three year, $66 million extension with the Eagles on April 5, 2024. At the time of the extension Mailata has two years remaining on his contract. The new contract contains $48 million in guarantees of which $41 million is fully guaranteed at signing. Under the terms of his prior contract, Mailata was set to earn $31 million making the new guarantee effectively $17 million. The full guarantee consists of a $20 million signing bonus and his 2024 and 2025 salaries. $7 million of his 2026 salary will be fully guaranteed on the third day of the 2026 league year. There are options due in each year of the contract and four void years for salary cap purposes. The extension increased Mailata's 2024 salary cap number by $1.175 million and his 2025 cap number by $1.85 million. The 2026 cap number decreases by $10.542 million with the replacement of the 2026 void with the extension. Another $3.75 million in incentives are also available.
