Vince Williams signed a three year, $18.6 million contract extension with the Steelers on August 24, 2018. According to Ian Whetstone, Williams received a $6.4 million signing bonus and $300,000 roster bonus in 2018. In 2019 he will earn a $2.9 million roster bonus if on the Steelers in March. Williams had one year remaining on his prior contract and his cap charge for 2018 increased by $700,000 as part of the new contract.
