Contract Notes

Rashawn Slater signed a four year, $114 million contract extension with the Chargers on July 27, 2025. Slater received $92 million in guarantees of which $56 million is fully guaranteed at signing. The new guarantee is $72.96 million. Slater received a $29 million signing bonus and his 2025 and 2026 compensation is fully guaranteed. If on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2026 league year his 2027 salary will be guaranteed. On the third day of the 2027 league year, $10 million of his 2028 salary is guaranteed. A $7 million roster bonus will be earned if on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2029 league year.
