Contract Notes

Nick Kwiatkoski signed a three year, $21 million contract with the Raiders. Kwiatkoski received $13.5 million in guarantees, $10.125 million of which is fully guaranteed at signing. The full guarantee consists of his 2020 base salary and a 2021 roster bonus. If he is on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2021 league year his 2021 base salary will become fully guaranteed. Another $3 million in additional incentives are available.

The Raiders added three void years to his contract for salary cap purposes in a 2021 restructure of the contract. They converted his 2021 roster bonus to a signing bonus as part of the restructure which lowered his cap charge by $2.7 million. His cap number will increase by $675,000 in 2022 and there is a potential $2.025 million in dead money when if the Raiders allow his contract to expire in 2023.
