Contract Notes

Latavius Murray signed a three year, $15 million contract with the Vikings on March 15, 2017. Murray received $3.4 million fully guaranteed at signing, including a $1.8 million signing bonus, according to a report by Aaron Wilson. If Murray is on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2018 league year, another $5.15 million of his contract will become fully guaranteed. There are annual gameday active roster bonuses in the contract and $2.3 million in potential incentives.Murray agreed to a $1.75 million pay cut in 2018. As part of the new contract Murray's $3.65 million base salary is fully guaranteed. The Vikings deleted the 2019 season from the contract so Murray will now become a free agent in 2019. Murray can earn $1 million in incentives if he runs for 1,200 yards. The move saved the Vikings $1.15 million in cap space.
