Kyle Fuller was designated a transition player by the Chicago Bears on March 6, 2018. The Packers signed Fuller to a 4 year, $56 million contract on March 16, 2018 and the Bears elected to match the offer sheet. According to ProFootballTalk, Fuller received an $18 million signing bonus, which is the guaranteed portion of the contract. There are also annual $500,000 per game bonuses and $500,000 workout bonuses in each year of the contract. The new contract will create $6.471 million in cap room for the Bears in 2018.Fuller restructured his contract in 2019, converting $7.5 million of 2020 salary into a bonus and adding two void years to the contract. The deal increased Fuller's 2019 cap number by $1,5 million and decreased his 2020 cap charge by $6 million, resulting in a net gain of $4.5 million.
