Contract Notes
Jaylen Waddle signed a three year, $84.75 million extension with the Dolphins on May 30, 2024. $76 million of the total contract value is guaranteed for injury of which $36 million is fully guaranteed. The new money injury guarantee is $56.05 million. Waddle received an $18.87 million signing bonus and his 2024 and 2025 salaries are guaranteed. If on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2025 league year his 2026 salary will be guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2026 league year, $15.2 million of his 2027 salary is guaranteed. The balance of his 2027 salary is fully guaranteed on the 3rd day of the 2027 league year. The Dolphins can convert Waddle's 2025 and 2026 salaries to an option bonus for salary cap purposes.
