Contract Notes
DK Metcalf signed a three year, $72 million contract extension with the Seahawks on July 28, 2022. Per PFT, Metcalf received a $30 million signing bonus and $58.2 million in guarantees. If Metcalf is on the roster five days after the start of the 2023 waiver period his 2023 salary and $12 million option will be fully guaranteed. If on the roster on the 5th day following the start of the 2024 waiver period Metcalf's 2024 salary will be fully guaranteed.
The Seahawks converted $11.875 million of Metcalf's salary in 2024 into a bonus for cap purposes. Three void years were added to the contract to create $9.5 million in cap room.
