Contract Notes

The Chargers and Corey Liuget agreed on a new contract for 2018. Under the terms of the new contract Liuget will take a $4.48 million salary reduction in 2018. As part of the new contract Liuget received a $2.585 million bonus.  2019 is now an option year while the 2020 contract year has been eliminated as part of the renegotiation. If the option is exercised Liuget will earn a $4 million roster bonus. The new contract saves the Chargers $4.48 million in cap room.   Please credit OTC if using this information.
