Week 2’s OTC league was as close as any I can remember with just about 10 points separating the winner and the 10th place team. Overall we had 18 players last week and our league this week will again carry up to 30 players. The entry fee for the week is $5 with the top 6 teams finishing in the money. I believe the winner will earn $55 and 6th place will double their entry fee with $10 in winnings. The more people we can get in the future the better the prize packages so feel free to invite any friends you may have, especially if they use OTC from time to time so we can maintain the league each week. With a margin of victory of less than one point, dbmurphy22 took home lask week’s OTC trophy. His team overcame some poor performances by Sam Bradford, Jeremy Hill, and Carlos Hyde, when he hit a home run with Antonio Brown and especially Crockett Gillmore. Second place went to natewheel who had a very steady lineup and probably would have won had Chris Ivory been 100% for the Jets. He seemed to be a bit more limited on Monday than expected with the Jets using more of a passing offense. Lord_veru was just one point off the lead and took third place. Rounding out the top 6 were dcarcass, myself, and mcb4811. Congrats to the winners for a well played game.
Remember that you get to pick a brand new lineup this week, so everyone has a chance no matter how bad things went last week. Join the OTC Fanduel Fantasy Football League
For the new players who have not used FanDuel before, FanDuel is a salary cap based format league in which prices are set each week for every player in the NFL and you have to fill your roster within the salary cap limits. So for example this week if you want Aaron Rodgers on your team you will use $9,300 of your cap limit and if you decide to pair him up with Matt Forte there goes another $8.900. Keep going until you fill out your roster which will consist of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 Def. The teams that score the most fantasy points that week will win money, with the first place team winning the most. Our league will allow you to select anyone who plays in the weekend or Monday night games. There are a number of other options outside of the OTC league on Fanduel including 50/50 leagues (finish in the top half and win), big multiplayers leagues (thousands of entries with huge prizes), 4PM only leagues (games with just afternoon games), late games, and wraparound weeks. If you have never played before I must warn you it is a great deal of fun and highly addictive.
