PANTHERS (+2.5) over Vikings– Should be a good game this week and these teams should match up well. Vikings have more explosiveness so one play probably sets up a very close win. Vikings 21 Panthers 19
Bears (+6.5) over BENGALS– Bengals blew it last week and could be a bit hungover. Cant see them covering this big a number even against the lowly Bears. Bengals 24 Bears 20
Packers (-3.5) over BROWNS– Browns are just a mess. Packers 26 Browns 16
TEXANS (-2.5) over 49ers– I get the hype around the QB, but the reality is he engineered 15 points against a terrible Bears team. Houston has a lot more talent. Texans 27 49ers 17
Cowboys (-4.5) over GIANTS– Not sure how the Cowboys will react to the cold but I have to think the Giants have checked out. If they give a great effort this week it says a lot about how they feel about the former coach. Cowboys 24 Giants 17
Lions (-1.5) over BUCS– Expect a lot of scoring in this one. Neither team is good but the Lions are more well rounded than Tampa. Lions 30 Bucs 27
CHIEFS (-3.5) over Raiders– Picking KC these days is the kiss of death, but on paper they are better than an Oakland team that really has no business even being 0.500 and in the playoff hunt given the way they have played. Chiefs 28 Raiders 20
BILLS (-3.5) over Colts– Bills QB looks to be Peterman but I think being at home and with a steady dose of McCoy they should cover against the miserable Colts. Bills 24 Colts 16
Jets (-0.5) over BRONCOS– Jets have laid an egg or two in these spots but the Broncos QB position is such a mess, even a giant egg is probably enough to win. Jets 24 Broncos 20
CARDINALS (+2.5) over Titans– Titans are probably going to make the playoffs this year and will likely be one of the worst teams to ever make it, but give them credit for beating the teams they are supposed to on an easy schedule. Titans 23 Cardinals 21
CHARGERS (-6.5) over Redskins– Could this be a trap game? Yes, but if the Chargers continue their current level of play they should pull away late against a Redskins team that is just missing too many parts. Chargers 29 Redskins 20
JAGUARS (-3.5) over Seahawks– Big test for Jacksonville, but they should match up well. Seahawks have no running game and Jags will bottle up the pass attack so unless Wilson can just scramble around and completely carry the offensive load to 20+ points I think the Jags should get a big win. RAMS (-1.5) over Eagles– I’d pick this differently if it were in Philly, but I think the home edge should give the Rams a very narrow win in a potential NFC championship preview. Rams 23 Eagles 20
Ravens (+5.5) over STEELERS– Ravens are a hard team to judge as they are all over the place week by week. If they had any consistency on offense they might be the favorites in the AFC. Steelers 19 Ravens 17
Patriots (-11.5) over DOLPHINS– New England didn’t have a great game passing last week so Id expect them to be on fire against Miami. Patriots 34 Dolphins 17
