2015 NFL Predictions: Week 6

Last week wasn’t awful picking winners (10-4) but picking with the points it was a disaster (5-7-2). Hopefully I’ll rebound this week and improve on the 52-25 and 39-34-4records. All the games are now up….

Falcons (-3) over SAINTS– Everything seems to be breaking right for Atlanta and getting the Saints on a short week after a non-effort would seem to be good timing. The Saints defense is terrible and the offense isn’t what it used to be either. Falcons are clicking on all fronts with Devonta Freeman leading the way out of the backfield while Matt Ryan and Julio Jones do their thing. The defense has been steady and should take advantage of a Brees mistake or two tonight. Falcons 34 Saints 21

Broncos (-3.5) over BROWNS– Denver may be the weakest of the remaining undefeated teams, but their defense is a terror and it will be hard for the Browns to overcome that. Broncos 26 Browns 16

JAGUARS (-1.5) over Texans– I’m not really high on Jacksonville but Houston is already just going through the mtions, specifically on defense. Ill go with the home team to pull it out. Jaguars 23 Texans 21

LIONS (-3.5) over Bears– If Detroit can’t win this at home then this is going to be just a brutal season for Lions fans. Lions 23 Bears 16

TITANS (-2) over Dolphins– If Miami’s ony problems are the head coach then expect the Dolphins to win handily. If the problems run deeper then go with Tennessee.  Titans 24 Dolphins 17

JETS (-7) over Redskins– This is a very big line for a team with a limited offense like the Jets but the defense should be able to shut down anything Washington can do. Jets 21 Redskins 13

Cardinals (-3.5) over STEELERS– Can’t see Pittsburgh keeping up in this game unless Arizona simply cant handle the cool weather and early game. Cardinals 30 Steelers 17

BILLS (+3) over Bengals– Should be an interesting game even with EJ Manuel playing QB for Buffalo. I could see this going either way but I expect it to be pretty close. Bengals 21 Bills 19

VIKINGS (-3.5) over Chiefs– Not a good time to be a Chiefs fan right now. They need Alex Smith to really step his game up an I cant see any reason to believe that it will happen anytime soon. Vikings 26 Chiefs 20

Panthers (+7) over SEAHAWKS– Until Seattle sorts themselves out offensively I cant pass up this many points for a good defensive team, even if the team has to play in Seattle. Seahawks 21 Panthers 17

Ravens (-2.5) over 49ERS– If ever there was a time for the Ravens to make a statement that the year isnt over its this week. Ravens 30 49ers 17

PACKERS (-10.5) over Chargers– San Diego might be the most consistent team on offense in the NFL, but that means they have zero upside and they need more to compete here. Packers 34 Chargers 17

Patriots (-9.5) over COLTS– This should get ugly, regardless of who is playing QB for the Colts. Indy didnt belong on the field with this team last season and there is no reason they belong on there now. Patriots 42 Colts 17

Giants (+5.5) over EAGLES– Pretty interesting game. I think this is more important for Philly than New York and that combined with the home field is why Id take the Eagles to win outright, but this has the makings of a field goal game.  Eagles 23 Giants 21
